Experienced international executive with expertise in building and scaling multiple businesses in China and globally.

A 20-year veteran of Starbucks Coffee, Jessica has held a variety of leadership roles as the company grew from just 50 stores in the US to a global brand operating over 17,000 stores in 55 countries. Worked on Starbucks’ original entry into China in 1999 and was on the leadership team that drove Starbucks’ initial expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.

Relocated to Shanghai in 2007, driven by a fascination with the rapidly changing retail landscape. In China, Jessica helped steer three iconic brands – Starbucks, The Walt Disney Company and Claire’s Accessories – as they developed strategies to adapt and grow in the world’s second largest economy.  In addition to roles at Starbucks, she held VP of Operations and Development Roles with The Walt Disney Company and Claire’s Accessories in China.

Previously COO, International, for Zambrero, Australia’s leading healthy Mexican food concept and social enterprise.  Zambrero’s Plate for Plate program has donated over 15 million meals to people in need around the world.

Jessica has been a visiting professor at Xian Jiaotong University where she facilitated a course on leadership to Chinese Business School students and more recently taught a course on start-ups at Hult International Business School’s MBA program in Shanghai.
